South Western Railway Recruitment 2018-19 for 963 Apprentice Posts

South Western Railway (SWR) has invited applications to fill up Apprentice posts. The last date to apply for the position is till January 16, 2019. Candidates can apply for the position through the official site of South Western Railway at rrchubli.in. Atotal of 963 posts of Apprentice will be filled up.

Hubballi Division: 287 Posts
Carriage Repair Workshop, Hubballi: 176 Posts
Bengaluru Division: 280 Posts
Mysuru Division: 177 Posts
Central Workshop, Mysuru: 43 Posts

Educational Qualification
Aspiring candidates should have passed the Matric/10th class examination or its equivalent. The candidates must have secured minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board and in case of ITI in a relevant trade.

Age Limit
Minimum: 15 years
Upper Age Limit: Candidates should not have completed 24 years as on the last date of notification.
The upper age is relaxable as follows:
SC/ST communities: 5 years
OBC communities: 3 years
Persons with Disabilities (PWD): 10 years

Application Fee
The candidates should pay a fee of Rs. 100 as part of the online application process.
SC/ST/Women/PWD candidates are exempted from paying a fee
Candidates need to pay the fee only through online mode. They can pay only through Internet Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card.

Selection Process
Engagement will be on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification. The merit list will be prepared for the purpose on the basis of percentage of marks in matriculation with minimum 50% (aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done.
