I 1. M.Sc. I or II Class in Chemistry or Biochemistry
2. 5 years experience in research either in Biochemistry plant products or inorganic Chemistry
OR
II PhD in Chemistry or Biochemistry.
Note: The experience required for the above post should be that acquired after obtaining academic qualifications and the same should be from any one of the following institutions.
1. Drug standardization units under the Central Government / State Government.
2. Institutions run by Central or State government
3. C.S.I.R
4. I.C.M.R
5. Central Council for Research in Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy.
6. Department of Chemistry, Biology and Botany of recognized Universities in India.
7. Pharmacology Departments of the recognized Medical Colleges in India.
