Southern Railway Recruitment Alert 2019: Apply for 3585 Apprentice Posts
Southern Railway has invited applications from candidates to apply for Apprentice posts. Candidates who want to apply for the post can visit the official site of Southern Railway on sr.indianrailways.gov.in and apply. The last date to apply for the post is till December 31, 2019. A total of 3585 posts of Apprentice will be filled through this recruitment drive.
Candidates who are the resident of the geographical jurisdiction of Southern Railway i.e. Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh Karnataka, Puducherry Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep are eligible to apply.
തിരുവനന്തപുരം ഡിവിഷനില് 683 ഒഴിവുകളും പാലക്കാട് ഡിവിഷനില് 682 ഒഴിവുകളുമുണ്ട്. എസ്.ആന്ഡ്.ടി. വര്ക്ക്ഷോപ്പ്- പോത്തനൂര്, കോയമ്പത്തൂര്, സെന്ട്രല് വര്ക്ക്ഷോപ്പ്-പൊന്മലൈ, കാര്യേജ് ആന്ഡ് വാഗണ് വര്ക്സ്-പേരമ്പുര്, റെയില്വേ ഹോസ്പിറ്റല്-പേരമ്പുര്, സേലം ഡിവിഷന്, തിരുച്ചിറപ്പള്ളി ഉള്പ്പെടെയുള്ള സ്ഥലങ്ങളിലാണ് മറ്റ് ഒഴിവുകള്.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed Class 10 examination under 10+2 system or its equivalent with minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate to apply for Apprentice posts.
The age limit to apply for the post is between 15 years of age to 22/24 years for age for Freshers/ Ex-ITI, MLT respectively.

Opening date of application: December 1, 2019
Closing date of application: December 31, 2019
Other Details
Candidates who want to apply for the apprentice posts will have to pay Rs 100- as application fee. No fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates. For more related details, candidates can check the official site of Southern Railway.
Selection Process
The selection process involves taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in both matriculation and ITI examination giving equal weight age to both.
