Delhi Police head constable recruitment 2019: Apply now for 554 posts
The Delhi Police has announced new job notification on its official website for the post of Head Constable. A total of 554 vacancies are vacant for Head Constables in Delhi Police. Candidates are advised to go through the official website of Delhi Police and apply for the same.
The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 554 vacancies of Head Constable (Ministerial) in Delhi Police. There are a total of 372 vacancies for male and 182 vacancies for female.
These online applications are invited from Male and Female Indian citizens for the post of temporary Head Constable (Ministerial) (Group 'C') in Delhi Police in Level-4 in pay matrix Rs 22,500-81,100 plus usual and admissible allowances to the Central Government Employees from time to time.

Eligibility criteria
An applicant must have passed 10+2 from a recognized education board
Knowledge of computer typing either in English or Hindi is mandatory
The required speed in English typing on Computer is 30 words per minute and in Hindi is 25 words per minute
Age limit
The lower age limit is 18 years and upper age limit is 25 years.
i) For OBC candidates the age limit is 28 years
ii) For SC/ST candidates the age limit is 30 years.
iii) For PwD candidates the age limit is 35 years.
iv) For Sportsmen/Sportswomen the age limit is 30 years
v) For Departmental candidate of Delhi Police the age limit is 40 years (for UR/EWS), 43 years (for OBC), 45 years (for SC/ST) who have rendered 03 years regular and continuous service in Delhi Police.
vi) For Ex-Servicemen the age limit will be as per rules.
Application fee
Rs 100 for unreserved category candidates.

Selection process
The selection process will include four stages out of which two will only be qualifying in nature. The first stage will be a written examination, date for which will be announced later.
