RBI Recruitment 2019: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has invited online applications to recruit for 199 vacancies to the post of RBI Grade B (DR) officer through the recruitment examination. The RBI recruitment notification is available on the official website of the RBI, rbi.org.in. The online application process is going to start from September 21, 2019, on on rbi.org.in and the last date to apply for the post of RBI Grade B officer is October 11, 2019.
Vacancy details
The total number of vacancies for RBI recruitment 2019:
Grade B Officers- 199 posts
Grade B General- 156 posts
Department and Policy Research Department- 20 posts
Statistics and Information Management- 23 posts

Educational qualification
A Minimum of 60 per cent marks (50 per cent in case of SC/ST/PWD) or equivalent in Bachelor’s Degree as well as in 12th and 10th standard examinations.

Age Limit:
The age of the candidates must not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years.
Age relaxation will be there for the reserved category candidates.

Important date
Explain that the application process under RBI Grade B Officers Recruitment 2019 will begin from September 21, 2019.
The last date to apply is October 11, 2019.
Grade B (DR) - General Phase One and DEPR / DSIM Paper 1- November 9, 2019.
Grade B (DR) - General Phase 2 examination- December 1, 2019.
Grade B (DR) - DEPR / DSIM Paper 2 and Paper 3- 2 December 2019.

Step 1: Candidates should visit the official website of RBI www.rbi.org.in to apply for Grade B officer positions.
Step 2: Click on the link for RBI Grade B Officers Recruitment 2019 appearing on the homepage of the website.
Step 3: A new page will open as soon as the link is clicked.
Step 4: After filling all the information requested on the new page, click on the submit button.
Step 5: The registration process will be completed as soon as you click on the submit button.
Step 6: Candidates must take a print out of the registration form with them for further requirements.

RBI exam pattern
RBI examination will consist of Phase-I & Phase-II followed by the interview.

RBI Phase-I exam will be an objective type with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The Phase-I examination will continue according to the existing Phase-I examination for Grade-‘B’ (DR). There are four modules in Phase-I - General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning.

RBI Phase-II exam will consist of three papers in MCQ pattern (except Paper-I); Paper-I on English (writing skills); Paper-II – Economic & Social Issues and Paper-III – (optional subjects) – Finance & Management/ Economics/ Statistics.

Final selection will be through merit lists which will be prepared by adding marks secured by candidates in Phase-II (Paper-I + Paper-II + Paper-III) and interview.

RBI Phase-I exam: Objective Type will be of 200 marks for 2 hours
RBI Phase-II exam: Three Papers will be of 300 marks
