Indian Navy has invited applications from interested candidates for Sailor postitions. The job or recruitment is for candidates who have passed their Class 10 or SSC or SSLC examination or High School. Also called MR or Matric recruitment, the applications are for course commencing from April 2020. Interested candidates can apply for the post by visiting the official site of Indian Navy at joinindiannavy.gov.in. The last date to apply for the post is till August 1, 2019. A total of 400 posts of Sailor will be filled through this recruitment drive.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidate must have passed Matriculation Examination from the Boards of School Education recognized by MHRD, Govt. of India. Candidates can check for more details from the Official Notification available here.
Age Limit
Candidates should be born between April 1, 2000, to March 31, 2003. Both the dates mentioned here are inclusive.

Closing date of application: August 1, 2019
Application Fees
Candidates belonging to general category will have to pay a fee of Rs 205/- through online mode by using net banking or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on state-wise merit of the performance in Computer Based Examination, subject to qualifying Physical Fitness Test and fitness in Medical Examinations. The computer-based test will have a total of 50 questions, each carrying 1 mark. The question paper will comprise of Science and Mathematics and general knowledge. The question paper will be bilingual – Hindi and English and objective type (multiple choice).

Complete the registration process with email ID and the application form will be displayed on the screen.
Fill up the form completely. Before clicking the ‘Submit’ button make sure all the details are correct, all required documents are scanned in original and uploaded.
