Kannur University Assistant Professor Vacancy
Online Applications are invited for preparing panel for the appointment of Assistant Professors on Contract Basis (subject to the approval from the Govt) at the University Departments/Centres for the academic year 2019-2020. Arising vacancies will be filled from the panel prepared.
Qualification:
Minimum qualification prescribed for the post of Assistant Professors in the UGC Amended Regulations 2014/NCTE norms/AICTE norms.The Assistant Professors on contract basis with minimum qualification prescribed for the post of Assistant Professor shall be eligible for a consolidated remuneration of Rs 25.000/- per month.
Age Limit as on 01.01.2019
Below 40 years (Upper age limit prescribed will be relaxed in the case of OBC, SC/ST and Physically Challenged persons by 3 years, 5 years and 10 years respectively subject to the relevant provisions of KS & SSR). Retired College/University teachers upto the age of 70 will be eligible for appointment to the post of Course Directors/ Assistant Directors.
General Instructions
1. The appointments on contract basis will be for a period up to the end of the academic year 2019-20.
2. No appointment made in one academic year will extend to the next academic year. Re-engagement will not be considered after completion of the term of the appointment.
3. The appointments will be made after conducting interview in each subject.
4. Dates of interview will be published on University website. No individual communication will be sent to the applicants.

The fee for online registration is Rs. 220/-(Rupees Two hundred and Twenty only)
