The Boarder Security Force (BSF) has invited applications for the recruitment of Constable (Tradesmen) Male and Female Indian citizens. These 1763 vacancies are temporary but likely to become permanent.

Eligibility criteria
1) Candidates should possess Matriculation or equivalent with
2) Two years work experience in relevant trades or
One year certificate course from Industrial Training Institute of Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the trade or
Two years Diploma from Industrial Training Institute in the trade or similar trade.
Age limit
Candidate's age must be between 18-23 years.
Physical standard:
Male
Height (ST) - 162.5 cm
Height (Others) - 167.5 cm
Chest (ST) - 76-81 cm
Chest (Others) - 78-83 cm
Female
Height (ST) - 150 cm
Height (Others) - 157 cm
The notification is expected to release in the employment newspaper dated February 2 to February 8, 2019. So, candidates can submit BSF Constable Application on or before March 4, 2019.
Important Dates
Opening date of application: January 30, 2019
Closing date of application: Within 30 days (March 01, 2019) from the date of publication of advertisement in employment news.
How to apply:
Prescribed application form and admit card which is available in BSF website www.bsf.nic.in may be downloaded and printed out in foolscap size (single side) paper. The application form and admit card duly filled up by the candidates may be sent to concerned Recruitment Agency (BSF HQRs) under which their state falls along with recent passport size photographs, examination fees and other required documents.
Last date of submission of applications is 30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in employment newspaper and 45 days for candidates belonging to far flung areas i.e., North Easter state, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu & Kashmir State, Lahaul & Spiti Districts and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh state, the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands or Union Territory of Lakshadweep.
