Qualification - For ASI (Steno) & HC (Min) posts, candidate should be
Intermediate (12th) exam pass from a Recognized Board.
ASI Steno
Skill Test (On computer)
Dictation -
10 minutes @ 80 words per minute in English or Hindi
Transcription
time - 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer
Head
Constable (Min) Skill Test (On computer)
Time allowed
- 10 Minutes
English
Typing - Minimum speed of 35 words per minute (wpm) or
Hindi Typing
- Minimum speed of 30 words per minute (wpm)
(35 wpm in
English and 30 wpm in Hindi corresponding to 10500 key depressions per hour in
English/ 9000 key depressions per hour in Hindi with average of 5 key
depressions for each word)
Examination
Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.100/- by a crossed Bank Draft Postal Order in
favour of authority to whom the application is addressed, payable at respective
SBI/ Post office at the location. No fee for SC/ ST/ Women/ Ex-Servicemen and
Departmental (BSF) candidates.
How to
Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application in prescribed format
along with Self attested copies of certificates/ testimonials as proof of
educational qualification, date of birth, caste, experience, two passport size
photo graph, two self addressed envelops size 25×12 cms duly affixed postage
stamps worth Rs.40/- to the concerned address given in notification on or
before 02-01-2017 & 16-01-2017 for
remote areas.
