Union Public Service Commission Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2017

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) published notification for recruitment for various vacancies in Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers Training Academy through Combined Defence Services Examination (I) 2017 (Including SSC Women) (Non-Technical) Course).

Total vacancies: 463

Indian Military Academy, Dehradoon: 150 Vacancies

Officers Training Academy, Chennai (For Women): 11 Vacancies

Air Force Academy, Hyderabad: 32 Vacancies

Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala: 45 Vacancies

Officers Training Academy, Chennai: 225 Vacancies

Age Limit: Candidates age should be 20- 24 years as on 01-01-2018 (born not earlier than 02nd January, 1994 and not later than 01st January, 1998). Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification:

i) For Indian Military Academy/Officers’ Training Academy: Degree from a recognized university or equivalent

ii) For Indian Naval Academy: Bachelor of Engineering

iii) For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering

Selection Process: Selection will be based on written examination and interview test.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through the website “www.upsc.gov.in” from 09-11-2016 to 02-12-2016 till 06:00 pm.

Application Fee: Candidates should possess Rs.200/- by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/ State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore or by using any Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card. No fee for Female/ SC/ ST candidates.

Instructions to Apply Online:

Before applying online candidates have to scan the copies of photograph & signature.

Log on through the website www.upsconline.nic.in.

Click on Online Application and then on CDS I Exam.

Now fill the form after reading all the instructions.

The information should be correct or in details.

Upload your scanned passport sized photograph on the given space for Photograph.

Pay the application fees of Rs.200/- via Net Banking or Credit/Debit Card.

Take a printout of the filled form.
