The Indian
Coast Guard has released an employment notification inviting candidates to
apply for the positions of Navik (general duty). The
last date for submission of online application is March 22.

(General Duty)
Age Limit:
Candidates age limit should be between 18 โ 22 years (i.e. candidates should be
born between 01-08-1995 to 31-07-1999 (Both Dates
Inclusive)). Relaxation of age will be applicable up to 05 years for SC/ ST and
03 years for OBC candidates.
Educational
qualification:
The
candidates interested in applying for this post should have passed class 12,
with 50 per cent marks aggregate in total and minimum 50
per cent aggregate in maths and physics, from an education board recognised by
central/state government.
Pay scale
The selected
candidates will be getting a monthly salary of Rs 21,700.
Selection
procedure
The
candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test and physical
efficiency tests, followed by a medical examination.
The written
examination will be of objective type, which will generally cover subjects such
as maths, physics, basic chemistry, knowledge of
English upto class 12, general knowledge, current affairs, quantitative
aptitude and reasoning etc. The list of selected
candidates will be prepared depending upon the available vacancies.
