The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on Tuesday released a notification on its official website for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL), 2017 which is scheduled to take place from August 1 to August 20. All the eligible candidates can visit the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in to fill the application form for SSC CGL 2017.

Educational Qualifications (as on 1st August, 2017):

(1) Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer - Essential - Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University or Institute. Desirable - Chartered Accountant or cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters I Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.

(2) Junior Statistical Officer - Bachelor's Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level (OR) Bachelor's Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

(3) All other Posts - Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

(4) The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply, however they must possess Essential qualification on or before 1st August 2017.

Application Fee: `100/- Only for General (UR) and OBC Category Candidates. The requisite fee pay through State Bank of India only either in the form of challan, generated on line, or through SBI Net Banking. Payment can also be made through any Credit or Debit Card. All Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying application fee.

Tier-I - Computer Based Examination

Tier-II - Computer Based Examination

Tier-III - Pen and Paper Mode (Descriptive paper)

Tier-IV - Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/ Document Verification.

How to Apply: Eligible Interested Graduates Apply Online through SSC Online Portal or Offline (Prescribed application Format). The closing date for receipt of applications is 16/06/2017.

16 to 32 years.

Salary with Pay Band - Rs.9300-34800 (pre-revised)

SSC CGL online registration will commence from May 16

The last date for SSC CGL online registration is June 16

SSC CGL computer based tier-I exam will be held from August 1 to 20

SSC CGL computer based tier-II exam will be held from November 10 to 11

SSC CGL descriptive paper tier-III will be held on January 21, 2018
